Sign-ups for the Summer 2015 CSA season begin Saturday, February 21. Current members may sign up online (via a link we’ll send to your email), or come see us in person at Habana ToGo Saturday, February 21, from 10:30 am to 12 pm. For those of you on the waiting list, we will have in-person sign-up on Saturday, March 14, at Habana Outpost from 10 am to 12 pm. Online sign-ups are only available to current members; new members must attend an in-person event.
If you were a member of GHCSA in 2014, you should have received a survey from us asking for your feedback on the last season. Please fill them out (check your spam and “promotions” folders if you don’t see this in your mailbox)! We use the survey responses to plan new seasons – and we share them with our farmers – and we greatly appreciate hearing from our members. And keep an eye on those email in-boxes for new season sign-up dates.
Already missing summer CSA? Mark your calendars: first winter CSA distribution is November 8 (and yes, half of the winter CSA will technically take place in the fall!). Complete winter CSA info here.

For those of you new to the Winter Share, vegetable shares are comprised of frozen veggies as well as storage vegetables (like squash and sweet potatoes, among other things). Pick ups are Saturdays, but because the food comes pre-boxed and it is very cold outside, distributions are 1 hour instead of two. More information here.

We are in the process of finalizing plans for this year’s Winter CSA. Although we are still waiting for some info on pricing and availability, we do know that we will be processing orders in the next week or so, and there will be a very limited sign up period, with payments required in full at that time.
Current pricing is as follows:
Family Vegetable: $262
Single Vegetable: $141
Subsidized Single Vegetable: $85
Beef Share: $162
We will have pricing for fruit and egg shares available for you as soon as we get the info from the farmers.

The sixth season of GHCSA started Saturday, May 31, with some great weather and lots of greens! We’re all looking forward to spending Saturday mornings at the Habana. If you’re not currently a member, we are sold out of shares, but do please sign up for our waiting list.
